Instructions for Converting Full Spectrum Irish Sea Moss to Gel

Take about a handful (or about 1 oz, which turns into 2 oz after soaking) of hydrated sea moss, wash it thoroughly in lukewarm water at least 7 to 8 times or more because it’s full of sand, salt, dirt, etc., from the sea. After washing, add the Sea Moss to a bowl, fill the bowl with Spring water or water of your choice so that it’s submerged in the water. You can squeeze key lime juice into the bowl with the sea moss (optional). Cut the remainder of the key lime in half or fours and add to the bowl of sea moss and water. Let soak overnight, pour water off sea moss, add sea moss to blender, add ½ cup fresh water to the blender; blend for about 60 to 90 seconds or until it’s a smooth gel. Pour sea moss gel in a container that has a lid, refrigerate for up to 4 weeks. Use a tsp or more in your tea, coffee, food, soups, salads, etc. There is no limit on how much sea moss gel you can consume; therefore, you can use as much as you like, which I do.
